By car

You can reach the zoo using the A3 Zurich – Chur/Chur – Zurich, exit at Pfäffikon/SZ, Seedamm, town centre, towards St. Gallen Wattwil, Lido or using the A52, exit at Rapperswil, Zürcherstrasse, town centre, towards Lido/Hochschule Rapperswil.

There's plenty of parking nearby.

By public transport

You can visit us using the train or the ferry. From the Rapperswil train station you can reach Knie’s Kinderzoo by the underpass, Oberseestrasse or the walkway in about 5 minutes. The zoo is about a 15 minute walk from the ferry landing. Knie’s Kinderzoo is a proud partner of the Swiss transport networks ZVV and ZSG.

There are several bus stops directly in front of the zoo entrance.
